What I offer:

Details & Fees

I will help you and your partner through your birthing journey.
Offering loving, nurturing support, guidance and hands on comfort.

Before Birth

1-2 Prenatal Visits

First and foremost I am excited to get to know you!

Choosing to have someone at your birth is such an intimate and important decision.   To me the birthing room is a sacred space, so it is so important for me to get to know you, and for you to get to know me.  I want you to be as comfortable as you can so these prenatal visits are our chance to meet,

I can answer questions. We will laugh and bond.  Connect!

  • I want to get to know you, your family, and your hopes for birth

  • You will have a chance to tell me about what is important to you, your priorities, what your nervous about, your vision.

  • I will bring my “doula bag” and you can see the comfort tools I have.  We might try out a few and you can tell me what might work best for you and what won’t.

  • We might practice comfort measures like some simple massage techniques or labor positions.

  • I’ll identify resources that may be helpful for you and your particular situation (breastfeeding, education, parenting support)

  • This is a chance for you to get to know me too! I genuinely want you to have the best possible birth experience, so I encourage you to meet with more than one doula.  If we decide to work together, I will be available for ongoing support, encouragement, and resource-sharing whenever questions or concerns arise.

During Labor

Every labor is different—I’ll follow your lead.

Most often, we begin with support while you are laboring at home. As you approach the end of pregnancy, we’ll stay in close communication.  In the very beginning stages, I’ll offer gentle guidance, reassurance, and suggestions to help you relax and find your rhythm.

We will decide together:

  • When it feels right for me to join you

  • Whether to meet at your home, hospital, or birth center

Once you are in active labor, I remain with you continuously — offering emotional support, comfort measures, a listening ear, warm touch and grounded presence — until your baby is born.

After your baby arrives:

I stay to help ensure everyone feels settled and cared for. This may include:

  • Supporting the first feeding or latch if you plan to breastfeed

  • Helping you and your birth partner get comfortable and nourished

  • Then I will make space for quiet bonding time

I leave when you, your baby, and your family are resting and ready to be together.

After the baby is born

I’ll visit once in the early days after birth and again in the weeks that follow. During these visits, I can:

  • Support breastfeeding, bottle feeding, or combination feeding

  • Answer newborn care questions

  • Hold space for you to process your birth experience

  • Help you navigate emotional and physical recovery

  • Connect you with trusted community resources

My goal is to help you feel supported, confident, and cared for as you step into life with your new baby
