First and foremost, I am a mom of three children, now ranging from 17 to 25. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my husband and our kids. My grown children live far away, so when we do get precious time together, we love to eat, hang out, play games and take walks together. When we can, we love to camp, go for slow bike rides, and meander along on our kayaks and paddle boards around the bay.
I try to spend a little time outside every day with our sweet dog “Daisy” Whether it be walking at the national seashore, along the water, in the woods, or just around the neighborhood, I love breathing in the morning air and listening to all the sounds as life wakes up around me.
I love to laugh. I love to connect. I love to listen.
Each person I meet is truly a gift and I believe we are forever changed by even the smallest interactions.
I have a Master’s in Counseling so I am trained in tuning in and focusing on what you need and where you are at with things.
But beyond my training. I simply believe in mothers. My calming faith in you and your ability to have your baby will radiate to everyone in the room.
These experiences shape how I show up as a doula — grounded, patient, joy filled and deeply aware of how fleeting and precious these early seasons are.
